Participant Information

Remote participation

For participants who cannot travel to Würzburg personally, we offer participation by video conference. Please let us know if you would like to use this option; detailed instructions and test sessions will then be provided prior to the meeting. During registration, please check the remote participant checkbox.

Travel

Würzburg has a direct railway connection to Frankfurt/Main airport (1,5h) and decent railway connections to Munich airport (3h via Munich central station) and Nürnberg airport (1.5h via Nürnberg central station).
If you book train tickets in advance, you can also choose to book cheaper saver fares; however, those can only be used for this specific train and special cancellation conditions may apply.

Please also see this file for special conference rates. Most important: We encourage early booking due to a lot of tourism in Würzburg.

Venue

The meeting will be held at Würzburg University’s Campus Hubland at the "Zentrum für Mediendidaktik", room 005. Please see this custom Google map for location details. We also plan to offer office and lab tours, if desired.

Tech

Conference wifi and eduroam wifi is available. Additional information for presenters will be provided in the run-up to the meeting. Power supply in Germany is 230V/50Hz using type F sockets.
